Orange school leaders voice support for adding gays to nondiscrimination policy

This is, of course the right thing to do, and especially notable for the often stodgy folks at OCPS. Chairman Bill Sublette's full-throated support, however, makes me wonder if he still has his eyes on City Hall if Buddy jumps into the gubernatorial race. Alternatively, might he have designs as the moderate alternative to Teresa Jacobs? Bill's probably in the wrong party to make a run at the copper dome, but this certainly strengthens his bona fides. In any event, he has always been one of the region's most forward-thinking Republicans.
