GOP bracing for "October Surprise"

Apparently Republicans are running around frantic over something about Mitt Romney that could be revealed by an attorney named Gloria Allred. That's the rumor going around, based on reliable GOP sources already bracing for a counterattack. The Lawyer is rumoured to be preparing for her so-called 'October surprise' in which she will strike the Republican presidential hopeful's chances by unearthing some sort of secret or scandal. Republicans are scared of her because she has done this before and successfully derailed candidates campaigns. Ms Allred launched a last minute strike on GOP Meg Whitman's campaign for governor of California by representing a disgruntled former housekeeper. In the pivotal moments of the campaign, the lawyer wheeled out Nicky Diaz who alleged that she was fired by the Whitman family because she was an illegal immigrant. Whitman went on to lose the election to Democrat Jerry Brown. Gloria Allred also brought down Herman Cain's presidential run for the GOP by revealing women Mr Cain had affairs with.

GOP groups and Romney supporters are already taking this seriously. The Red Side of Life, another GOP watchdog group warned its supporters of the need for action:

"We're doing too well to risk 'an Allred,' she can be stopped, but it will take action on our behalf."

I guess we'll find out if this October Surprise happens or not. Chances are, this "revelation" would dramatically affect the female vote. Rumors range from something that has to do with abortion to an affair and love child. One thing is for sure republicans are quietly scared.

This may turn out to be nothing that people will even care about but apparently this "October surprise" is about Romney being involved in a court case about a messy divorce between one of his business partners. The documents are currently sealed and apparently there is some "juicy information" about Romney in those documents and Gloria Allred is in the process for trying to get them unsealed before the election. Gloria Allred plans to unveil a secret about Mitt Romney soon.

According to TMZ, he stated that Staples would never amount to anything, so his business partner got off scott-free in the divorce proceeding. It is arguably perjury, but that would be hard to prove in a court setting. In any case...he's a politician now, so I know he's lying as long as his gums are flapping. Same for Obama, Bush, Clinton...etc.
