The former Watkins School of Art structure in MetroCenter is being razed via a $125,000 permit by Environment Abatement Inc.  Chartwell Residential still has not released its exact plans for the site, although we know it will be built out in 2 phases with a total of 350 residential units.

Been waiting for this impatiently ... the post was from July 30, and there was still no info on opening day when I dropped by in person a week or two ago. I believe this is replacing both the dry cleaner and DIY craft place that used to be there next to Oscar's tacos and the hair salon.

Granted, Hattie B's West Nashville location is already plenty close and usually pretty good, but my lazy butt needs some walkable hot chicken!

LIV at 819 West Trinity Lane will be a series of 3 story structures encompassing 325 apartments on 12.5 acres of currently undeveloped, wooded land. Birmingham-based LIV is the developer, and has paid a total of $5.06 million for the two tracts of land. Nequette Architecture is in charge of design, and Kimley Horn is handling engineering/land planning. A rendering is available below.

According to SP filing, this is the presumed layout of the site. Could be old/outdated, but it is does have the elevation Mark posted above on it.

It is the blue outlined development on the W Trinity image that I pulled together a couple months ago

Does anyone know what's going on with Silo Studio (The rehabbed lumber mill off Centennial Blvd)? It appears as though it is finished, but there are basically no tenants in the building other than that F45 Gym.

A 5 story, 340 unit apartment complex is being planned for 1354 Brick Church Pike on the site currently housing the Al Menah Shrine Temple.  This info was gleaned from a Metro Water & Sewer document with Barge Design Solutions listed on it.  No word on the developer, time table, or rendering.

Any idea of the selling price? Their website didn't seem to offer the sale price.
