If I recall correctly, they are currently only doing work for the road infrastructure and the gas station that will front Dickerson. I could be wrong and will have to go check permitting though.

For anyone interested, the rock strata there is full of brachapiod and crynoiod fossils.  Also hornrned corals and fingerprint horned corals.  Best site in Nashville.

Lots of fossils on hwy 12 as well, but you better beware of falling rock in places.

With the prominent location, this seems like such a missed opportunity to build something more interesting (e.g. a few apartments on top of a CVS, like a smaller version of the 21st Ave CVS) instead of just transposing the same everytown CVS model across the street to make way for the road realignment... . Sorry if this sentiment has already been expressed before and I just missed it .. just didn't really make an impact on me until seeing what it looks like in that location.

Looks like hotel developer Kal Patel has another site lined-up for  4 story project in MetroCenter on the 2.4 acre site at 131 French Landing Drive (SE corner of Vantage Way and French Landing Dr.). Patel paid $3.8 million to Medical Properties of America, which currently has a non-historic 2 story medical office structure and large surface lot on the site. Patel has 3 other hotel properties in MetroCenter already.
