Stonebridge Lofts (4 stories, 311 units, 11,200 sq. ft. of ground level retail) has broken ground on Dickerson Pike, north of Long Hollow Pike in Goodlettsville (northern Davidson County).  The developer is Holladay Ventures ; architect is Studio A; contractor is Highland Building Group.

These are currently affordable housing/ section 8 apartments. Wonder if the new developer will include some kind of affordable units below market rate. This flew under the the radar unlike the complex off of Dickerson Rd.

I love apartment buildings set back in the middle of neighborhoods.

An unknown townhome complex I found u.c. at about 1102-1106 Baptist World Center Drive.  Three building of 3 stories each with a combined 20 townhomes. Two are topped out, and the third is on the 2nd level.

Interesting, but hardly elegant.   Regretably so many of the new residences  are just a random collection of boxes with little design accomodation for beauty.  Also, I would absoluely hate to live in one of these if I had to use crutches unexpectively or has friends with wheelchairs  who couldn't visit  because of the absurd entry stairs.
