The 11 story, octagon-shaped building at 50 Music Square West is going to move ahead as a Hotel Indigo boutique hotel with a $47 million loan to convert it from office space. should be 130 rooms, and open late in 2019. Jay Patel is the developer. The structure includes a 137 space underground garage.

Haha exactly!  It's like, if all of Nashville's highrises were cats, this building would be a Sphinx... and no, I'm not stoned right now.

At least Hotel Indigo designs tend to incorporate a lot of color and quirky features, so maybe they can do something creative with this building.

It's interesting that they have another Hotel Indigo maybe 6-8 blocks away on West End. Business must be good.

Destination City = big money! Marriott is building two Moxy brand hotels in the city as well is I am not mistaken. Vanderbilt and Broadway.

Nashville Post reports that Saint Cecilia Academy are prepping for some upgrades to their West Nashville facilities. Two permits — one valued at $3.7 million and the other at $545,000 — have been issued to allow for the construction of a fine arts academy building and renovations to the music/drama building.
