If this is the lot I’m thinking it is, this is staying a parking lot.

Here’s the permit: https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/4013766

Improvements to parking lot to include: additional lighting, two security telephone stations, and electric security gate, and power/charging stations for vehicles. installed gate for Chik Fil A off site parking lot. For employee parking, overnight storage of food/catering truck and hybrid vehicles with power/charging source - a couple blocks away from it's restaurant ( Chick Fil A - 1622 Church St ) . This lot is located at 1718 Hayes St . POC: Randy Fann , Spectracorp , 615 - 895 - 0215 cell 615 - 293 - 0006 Approved per M.Potter”

Agree, besides this is owned by the Dialysis Clinics of TN which own the entirety of both of those blocks and they are not going to develop anything major on those lots. This is a REIT for them and they own a number of other parcels in midtown.

These are not new actually as these are a year old. This is on D Tracker now for approval, but the rendering were released some time ago if you check way back on the thread. It’s just taken this project a while to get to this stage for some reason.

Glad to see it is on the planning agenda now and the modernist church and parking lot will come down.
