2809 12th Ave. South (home of 21st Century Christian Publishing on .95 acre) has sold for $10.6 million to Titan Development, which is apparently based out of Dallas, TX. The existing structure covers 23,000 sq. ft., but my guess is that nondescript/non-historical building will be raised for a larger mixed-use project.

1906-19010 Acklen Ave. has been purchased for $4.25 million by the Mainland Companies from the Hamilton family, who bought the sites in 1979 for $125,000.  The 1925-era structures have been housing predominantly music businesses for decades. No word on Mainland's plans.

The ground floor has 3 large retail spaces that face 12th Avenue South. The lobby is situated on Gilmore Avenue and has access to the interior courtyard with a waterfall feature. The entrance into the parking garage is also on Gilmore Ave.

Although, we (who live nearby) have been told these cannot be STR, most sure look like hotel rooms with a kitchenette.

The 3 story, 39,000 sq. ft. medical office building slated for the triangular, 1.5 acre site at 500 28th Ave. North looks to finally be starting soon. MOB 28th Partners will be the developers; STG is the architect; Thomas & Hutton will handle land planning.

Martin Flats (3 & 4 stories, 150 micro units, ground level coffee shop) in WeHo is now open. Most of the units are under 200 sq. ft.,  with rent set at around $1,000 per month (free utilities and wi-fi). There are 4 communal kitchens/eating areas, 4 communal living spaces, a communal rooftop patio, and communal courtyard.

Any word on the retail in this building or the building(forgot name) just down the street from this? I am assuming that is retail in the bottom, it looks like it when I drive by.
