It's a great late-night hangout with good food. They have tons of arcade games and skee ball.

I hope for you all that it doesn't become like their location in Uptown Dallas. Very loud, obnoxious music at 1-2am and almost every weekend has DPD calls because of fights and public intoxication. They're actually quite a pain in the side here, hopefully management their keeps it in check.

The Kung Fu managers have already had a meeting with the building management for the Adelicia Condos. The noise at 2 am was unbelievable. It's been a lot better since then ....but there's still a ton of intoxicated Vandy students.

Had an office in there for about 5 years.  As a songwriter, it didn't work that well because the offices have no soundproofing.  But glad they saved the building for its historic value.  Hoping the CMHoF will eventually do tours there like they do Studio B.

"Giarratana, Shmerling partner on Midtown apartment project"

Tony Giarrantana and Michael Shmerling have broken ground on Pearl Streat apartments. The "moderately priced" 50-unit complex will be located at the corner of Fisk Street and Pearl Street. Plans call for a pair of multifamily buildings with 50 one-bedroom residential units, and about half the units will rent for between $900 and $1,000.
