HCA Centennial expansion (4 story garage and addition to main building) update.

Looking south from deck of 8 City Blvd in One C1TY:

Its amazing how fast they have gotten this garage up, i drive by it every morning pulling in to the other HCA garage on the other side of the 28th/31st connector and I swear it only takes them < two weeks to complete a floor.

Building four (the HCA building they are re-doing) is move along quickly as well.

From the Nashville Post:

HCA Holdings Inc. will add four floors to the Centennial Tower of its TriStar Centennial Medical Center campus in Midtown, Nashville Business Journal reports.

The Nashville office of Birmingham-based Brasfield & Gorrie will handle the effort, which will yield an additional approximately 155,000 square feet.

The project could carry a price tag of about $100 million, NBJ reports.

Remember, this is way off the beaten path. Few folks will see it.

Actually, this is located at the very dead end of Fairfax, right next to I-440 and set back about 150 ft from West End Ave. (there is a small sidewalk path connecting West End to Fairfax here), so lots of folks will get a look at the new ski lodge.

All that's missing is a Claudine Longet statue in front (Luger pistol in hand, optional).

^ ^ ^ More info on this from the Nashville Post:

Brentwood-based GBT Realty is beginning on site work for its 76-unit Belcourt Park apartment building in Hillsboro Village.

The roughly $20 million project which will be undertaken at 1710 Belcourt Ave.

Belcourt Park will offer an onsite leasing and management office. Pre-leasing is expected to start this winter with the first residents moving in no later than Spring 2018, according to a release.

A recently issued permit (valued at $1) related to utility lines and to allow blasting for site preparation shows the Franklin office of Civil Constructors will handle the work.

In early March, GBY secured an $11.4 million construction loan from Trustmark Corp.

All units will be equipped with complimentary Google Fiber offering digital access up to 20 times
faster than current area service, as well as NEST Learning Thermostats (to assist residents in controlling
monthly expenses), the release notes. Common amenities include Wi-Fi workspace, an espresso bar, a fitness facility and a patio equipped with cabanas and fire pits.

The four-story building will include a concealed parking structure that can hold up to 84 cars.

“While GBT may be more well-known nationally for our retail pursuits, Belcourt Park here in our
hometown is the ideal example of our pivot that identified a need and went to work to meet the
growing demand for quality, neighborhood rental homes,” Ben Owenell, managing director at
Diversified Development Division, GBT Realty. “For Hillsboro Village, we are creating an
environment that features modern amenities and encourages walking and biking, while also providing a
reasonably-priced housing choice for Nashville’s urban infill environment.”

I am literally 20 yards from this project and am amazed at the relative quiet of the construction and blasting. Maybe living on a main road has dulled my hearing?
