 While i applaud the use of brick over cement board. This looks very......bland

I agree, especially considering the prices (starting at $1M!). :tw_astonished: They really don't look like anything special.

There is most likely a landscaping requirement by Metro. Landscaping and trees are the last thing to go in.  I do know with most homes there is a 2" caliper tree requirement, but with these being so close to the sidewalks I am unsure what the requirement is.

You can see in the rendering, (in the foreground) there are trees that are about ten feet tall along the front.

Fred Hall of Hall Emery says that after delaying the 17th & Grand project (7 stories, 160,000 sq. ft. of office space) in April, they are looking at a fall ground breaking. They have a loan agreement in place with an unidentified lender, as well as other investors committed.  Construction should take 20 months to complete, with a planned opening in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2022.
