The 3.8 acre site site for a 32 home development planned  for 54- Edwin St. (near the SW corner of the East Trinity Lane and Ellington Parkway interchange) has been sold for $1.4 million. Legacy South Capital is the new owner.  No word on their plans for the site.

I checked on Google maps for the location of this project and found something curious. Perhaps some of our longtime Nashville residents/history buffs would know what this abandoned building with a parking lot used to be. It is on the hill overlooking the ramp from Briley Pky to I-65 North.  Anyone know what this was?

M Cubed has released images for its proposed 3 story, 21-townhome, 1,500 sq. ft. ground floor retail development at 1012 Main St. (at intersection with Forrest Ave.). Vehicle access will be via the back alley.

Powell Architecture + Building Studio is handling design, which is primarily brick. It will require MDHA Design Review Committee approval . The Metro Historic Zoning Commission will also need to approve, with a Wednesday Oct. 16 meeting slated.

So are we looking at about 18 months til construction is completed and about 20 months until the new residents start calling in noise complaints about the 5 Spot?

@MLBrumby, I've lived here over 27 years and I have no clue.  There are plenty of others on UP who've lived here much longer than me.  Any guesses?

The 2 story, 20,100 sq. ft.  bow-truss warehouse at 11 Willow St. in the RR District is going to expand with 18,000 sq. ft. of office space and a facelift. Gear Seven Creative bought the site for $2.75 million in Feb. and is expanding its video production company. A $2 million permit for interior demo, renovations, and the expansion has been granted for the 1940-era structure.

The 1.5 acre lot at 201 Woodland St. on the east bank that had been the home of Thai Phooket Restaurant and Limelight Club has been bought by Raman Dayal, who also owns the Clarion Hotel just to  the north for $6.6 million. from theMonroe Partners group.  No immediate word on Dayal's plans, but some sort of hotel would seem to be part of a plan.
