The Lincoln Tech Campus development (numerous 3 -7 story structures, 865 residential units, 175,000 sq. ft. of office space, 62,500 sq. ft. of retail space, and several internal garages)  had good news last week:

The Metro Planning Commission approved, by an 8-0 vote, a request to amend the East Nashville Community Plan, a move that was needed for the proposed project.

Pretty easy to follow the ownership path with this.  Parcel Viewer shows a mailing address for the house to be a property on Main St and that leads to a property on the wiLliamson side of brentwood.

So much for outsider REinvestors being good neighbors and working together.

It appears construction has stopped on this. I haven’t seen workers in over a month.

This is Wood Partner's. They are their own contractor, so more than likely they are short on a subcontractor, which seems to be a real issue here or it could be a permit or utility issue. My guess is a sub issue.

Dickerson Flats (3 stories? 200 units?) update: the one time recording studio where many huge hits were made (including some of James Brown's biggest) has been razed to make way for the complex.  Sure. wish something could've been done to preserve it, but it had deteriorated badly over the past few decades while being boarded-up. Some folks offered to buy it, but the owners refused for whatever reason.

1300 Pennock Ave. will be a 3 story, 11 condo project with 2,400 sq. ft. of ground level retail in the Cleveland Park neighborhood.  Smith Gee Studio is the architect, and Dale & Assoc. is in charge of engineering and land planning. The lot is currently empty.

The new area will include 450 more campsites, a 120 room hotel, 300 unit apartment complex, community center, restaurant, etc. Gresham Smith is the architect.

Been wondering when this site will be infilled. It has been vacate ever since the tornado and the townhome building just to the east is not great. And that is being nice haha.

A 300  unit residential project with an additional 39 single family homes is being planned by an unknown developer for the 4.6 acre site at 1409 Davidson St., just the the west of Shelby Park.
