Haven't seen any updates in quite some time, but anyone have any info on next steps for the Lincoln Tech development? Even checked the Lincoln Tech site and it doesn't list anything of them finding a property to move to or anything. Live near there, hoping for some good development news. This stretch of Gallatin needs some change.

It is still working its way through the entitlements process. The SP was conditionally approved by Planning Commission and is now set to go before council. They are also still working through the elimination of the District-Major Institutional overlay for the surrounding area. I have also heard that design is ongoing in the background with designers and ownership.

If I am remembering correctly, the purchase of the land is contingent on the re-zoning going through, so the college probably would not be posting anything beyond what they have already posted until that is finalized.

Thank you so much for that info! Really hoping the redevelopment happens.

This project is on the March 7th council agenda.

Does anyone find it odd that a hospital wants to locate an ER at 1000 Dickerson Pike next to the new 255 unit residential property at 900 Dickerson Pike? I feel like the developers at 900 Dickerson Pike & 903 Dickerson Pike would be livid that a loud ambulance stop may be located next to their brand new investments.

I thought the density was going to have a great amenity with the bakery there on Dickerson Pike & Whites Creek Pike in Cleveland Park.

TriStar Healthcare Inc., has plans to build a $21 million freestanding emergency department at 1000 Dickerson Pike. The property is owned by prominent Nashville attorney Aubrey Harwell with an appraisal value of $372,900. The building is currently home to Shugga Hi Chicken and Waffles. The restaurant could not immediately be reached for comment.

If approved, the proposed 11,900-square-foot emergency department would operate as a satellite facility of TriStar Skyline Medical Center, according to the letter, and would feature 11 exam rooms, one trauma room, a lab, an imaging department, a nurse station and support spaces.

These small, free standing ER locations cater to minor emergencies from individual patients, they’re not for the ambulance trade.

It appears that the former Pawn Shop building at 801 Gallatin (NEC Gallatin/Seymour) will be renovated into a Bank of America branch office. That makes sense given that the Inglewood BofA branch at Gallatin/Stratford closed and the ATM at 800 Main will have to be relocated when that parcel is redeveloped.

Here are renderings and a diagram for the 10th & Fatherland townhome project (3 stories, 19 units). Richland Building Partners are the developers; SGS is the architect. They will go before Historic Zoning Commission on March 15th for approval.
