My husband noticed they were working on the church on the corner of Dalebrook Lane and Eastland Ave. It was called the Greater Grace Template Community Church; it has been for lease for a couple of years. Looks like it is possibly being renovated into another church. Thoughts?

I don't have feelings one way or the other about church closings and conversions, but I live close enough to this church that I used to be able to hear the services while doing yardwork on Sunday mornings. I'm glad that it won't be sitting empty much longer.

The permit says Legacy Church. The owner is  listed as IRIS NASHVILLE MINISTRY .

So, it looks as if this is going to be another church. The permit also say the owner is 901 DALEBROOK PARTNERS, LLC, but that LLC is no longer active according to the secretary of state.

My dentist is the building next door. If I remember correctly that house has already been demolished and wood fence has been put up between the dentist and this parcel.

The property changed hands and has been cleared and as of last week a master permit has been issued.

Found some info on  2820 Dickerson Pike site for sale with the proposed development by the Cauble Group.

- 76 townhomes (twelve 2-3 story buildings)

- Garden Apartments (three buildings 2-3 stories,  unknown units)

- 4-7 story office building with 32,000 sq. ft. per floor.

- 4-5 story mixed use building with 19,400 sq. ft. per floor

Saw this yesterday at the corner of Gallatin and Inglewood, a block off of the Briley Pkwy ramp in North Inglewood. The lot was fenced off with a couple of these signs up.  20 STR-zoned apartments with two penthouses coming in 2021. 1100 Inglewood Drive.

Two new zone changing request popped up on Metro’s Development Tracker map. The first is for three parcels owned by Samaritans Recovery Center at the corner of S 5th and Shelby totaling 4.61 acres.  Reason for zone changing request is for Multifamily Development.  The second is for two parcels at 1106 and 1108 Davidson Street totaling 7.97 acres along the river. Reason for zone changing request is because “neighborhood is becoming less industrial and more residential”.

I would love for Davidson Street to redevelop toward that area. Ideally as midrises from Shelby Park giving way to high rises closer to downtown.
