Meridian Park (numerous 2 story townhomes, 156 units) update: Excavation nearly done.

Townhomes on Graycroft will be approximately 65 townhomes on 7.7 acres at 1022 South Graycroft, and is being developed by a group affiliated with ZMX Inc. and Forbes Plunkett Real Estate.  They paid $1.5 million for  the site, and have secured a $7 million construction loan from FirstBank.  They are lookin at a mid-2021 groundbreaking. No renderings yet. 

They also have an adjacent 9 acre site at 620 Due West Ave. which is earmarked for two structures and around 220 apartments that will also start in summer of 2021.

A residential project of unknown scope at at SE quadrant of where Ben Allen Rd. crosses over Ellington Parkway. Tree removal and excavation nearly complete.

Absolutely nothing comes up in parcel viewer for the SE Quadrant of this intersection. No zoning other than  R-10, 3.7 units per acre on all corners except the NE which is OV-RES at 9 units per acre, so my guess is that if anything these are homes.

The Ellwood (remodel/renovation of office building) update: exterior work underway.

Williams Station will be a 3 story, 51 unit townhome project by New Level Community Development on 3.16 acres at 302 Williams Ave.  in Madison. Work is to begin in December, and completion is planned for late 2022.

I don't think they're connected.  The townhomes are nearly complete, and divided from this property by an alley.

This is a project by Urbangate development out of Michigan, but I do not know what the plans are. I suspect it may just be homes.

My church, The Church at Lockeland Springs (corner of 16th & Holly), just planted The Community Grove on the empty grass lot next to the historic fire station. According to the Facebook post: "It will not only replace some of the trees lost in the tornado, but will serve as a space for our neighbors to rest, to reflect, to pray, and to relax for generations." 

Can't wait to see these trees in the Spring!

The adjacent property, the one with the brick building that was demolished,  will potentially have a building built right up to the street & alley.  If that comes to pass this same photo angle would hide much of those garage fronts.  These garages are off an alleyway.
