I was just looking at the lots yesterday. Every surface lot you see that surround the stadium & KVB is owned by the Sports authority.

To give you  an idea of what Metro paid for the land that the stadium sits on and lot B is, here ya go.  These were the 1999 prices.

Lot B Metro paid 1.9 million 23 acres

The Stadium lot 3.3 million 29 acres that also included lot F, M, E

219 Russell St parking was 1.5 million 5.92 acres

 

The remaining lots on the other side of Victory were done in a couple of different deals for 5.45 million . 17.02 acres

So Metro  paid 12.15 for 89.76 acre according to the parcel viewer documents. How much do you think they can get for that acreage now?

I assume it must be a permitted use under the current zoning.  Are you talking about Martin's?

I think this person may be wrong.   From the BZA 11/5/20 there was only one change to the zoning and that was for parking, however this is already zoned for a mixed used project like most everything around it under current zoning. ePav-Viewer.aspx (nashville.gov)

The only  permit issued is here and there is no mention of nightclub/restaurant, bar which would be required in the permitting process. https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/3712984?initial=1&searchType=permit&orderBy=fullAddress ASC,permitNumber ASC&searchText=&page=1&searchCode=ADDR

It is all under the East Nashville Lockland Springs OV-NHC. 

I suggest you contact Brett if you have concerns .

Brett has the same concerns regarding noise.  FWIW, @Concerned East Resident the owner has told the adjacent neighbors that he does not intend to replicate Canvas on Church Street.  Mostly going to be tables and chairs and no open floor for dance parties and DJs/Live Music.  East End residents are going to have to be vigilant like the old days to keep things together if they end up breaking noise ordinances.

Couple of notes on this Friday evening (sorry no links right now):

- Rumor is that Riverchase Apts has or will have a new owner. No word on who the new owner is or what their plans are for redevelopment.

- Some have probably seen this already, but the Calypso Cafe building is up for lease. Calypso plans to relocate to a smaller space.

- Based on recent permits, Fifth Third Bank is looking at 1201 Gallatin Ave (former Krispy Kreme and meat wholesale business)

- Eastwood Village had a big building and occupancy permit issued today

- the auto repair shop on riverside (across from Riverside Grill Shack) is for sale for 1.4 million.

The .37 acre triangular lot featuring a nondescript single story, 2,720 sq. ft. structure at 1100 Riverside Dr. (intersection of Rosebank and Riverside) is for sale at $1.4 million.
