I would love to see that, could you imagine a Gallatin road that looks more like how they were talking about taking 8th South to one lane each direction a couple years back? Not sure what it would take to get the state to sign off on that significant a traffic reduction, not to mention the backlash the plans for 8th got.

Oakwood Flats Townhomes, Phase II (3 stories, 5 units) update: topped-out.

Sunnymeade Commons will be a four 3 story buildings with 28 townhomes at 3930 Gallatin Pike being co-developed by Public Square and Open Works. They paid $1.25 million for the site in February. Will Rosenthal of Open Works is also the architect. A general contractor has not been chosen yet, but the hope is to break ground by late fall.

From Clay Haynes of Public Square: "We are designing spaces that intentionally consider the new work-from-home environment. We live in a creative city and want to deliver a project that Nashville hasn't seen before, one that is thoughtfully designed and future-facing. The units will be all-electric and ready for high-speed electric car chargers from day one. Buyers will find distinctive design touches throughout each unit in an effort to exceed the required energy code standards."

Edley's BBQ will be moving from its location at 908 Main St. a few blocks away to the soon-to-be-built commercial structure at 1000 Woodland St. (Woodland and South 10th St.) A late 2022 opening is planned.  This is the first tenant signed for the property by developers Magnolia Investment Partners who bought the former Family Dollar site for $2 million in 2018.  The new location will have more square footage and parking for Edley's clientele.

A group associated with Rethink Capital Partners out of New York has finished buying plots from several entities for a 27 acre development with the primary address of 1410 Dickerson Pike.  All told, they paid over $9.27 million for all the parcels.  Rumors are that it will be 670 residential units (townhomes and apartments), 40,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, and some public green space are expected for the undeveloped hilly land that stretches all the way west to I-65/24 North. Hastings Architecture will be in charge of design.  No renderings or project name yet.
