This may be a dumb question but I'm not sure if that's a typo, or if you're editorializing, and if so, about what?

Amazon is opening yet another large distribution center at 3818 Logistics Way in Antioch.  Not sure when the he 517,500 sq. ft. facility will open, or how many it will employ. This will be their 7th distribution center in the metro.

The adaptive re-use of the factory/warehouse underway at 1420 3rd Ave. South in WeHo has landed its first tenant. Saint Elle will be an event venue that will open in spring of 2020 on the spot atop a hill with skyline views and distinctive arched beams supporting its roof (the "bow truss" style), and will take up about 2/3 of the building's space. It will be operated by the same group that runs The Cordelle even venue in SoBro.  That means there is about 6,100 sq. ft. left to lease.

I wonder if these people know they aren't in Wedgewood, they are in Chestnut Hill?

They just dont get it over there. When you cross the tracks, it is a different world and the folks in WeHo just cant follow the street grid and mosey on over too those shops.

They have to get in their car and drive from WeHo because it just simply is not walkable. They will have to cross 4th Ave which is a busy one way street not to mention cross a RR track  if they do decide to walk it.

There will have to be a lot more rooftops on that side of the tracks first and they dont need to rebrand it is WeHo and just Capitalize the Chestnut Hills name.

We are seeing the same thing in the Gulch as realtors and developers are trying to call areas "The Gulch" that are four or five blocks away. Sometimes realtors got their heads up the backside of a mule. Not all, just the ones that are in cahoots with a few of the developers that are trying to self brand and area to be something that it is really not instead of embracing what is already there.

I might have emailed them... Friday! ha. The crossing from the Hawaiian bar to Nvr Nvr isn't too bad but it lacks in any cross walks or anything like that. Outside of the rush hours 4th isn't too busy. Maybe we will eventually see 4th become 2 lanes with street parking that would make a huge difference.

I am definitely intrigued how these new businesses/restaurants/bars are going to handle it. I wonder if we eventually see a pedestrian bridge over the tracks. There seems to be no juice to solve the railroad crossing for traffic.

Speaking of the railroad tracks. We were leaving Parson’s Friday and we’re about to walk to Never Never. We cut through the back of Houston Station, and this guy comes barreling down the gravel from Chestnut. He tried to get over the tracks and ended up getting stuck. They had to shut the line down while they brought a tow in. He told me he thought it was a road...

The two parcel, 1.58 acre site at 447-451 Murfreesboro Pike (SW corner of Fesslers Lane and Murfreesboro) is up for sale at $ million, which is 4 times what it sold for in 2015. The site is zoned commercial services and is suitable for a redevelopment, as well as being located within a federally designated opportunity zone.
