M Cubes has finalized the purchase of the .64 acre site at 2510 12th AVe. South (Atkins Funeral Home) for $5.2 million.  DAAD will be designing the new mixed-use building to go on the plot (no word on height) that will feature 16 boutique hotel rooms, 19 condos,  two retail tenants, a plaza with public art, and an underground garage fro at least 70 cars.  No renderings yet.

Demolition starting at Park at Hillside apartments.  They've torn down 2-3 buildings already.  I still have yet to see a final rendering of these buildings, but it seems the demo has finally started.

Did I miss it, or did Elmington never actually release renderings of the new apartments they're building here at the Park at Hillside project?

Elmington has yet to release any renderings.  There was a diagram of how buildings would be positioned that is available on the thread dedicated to this project.

Thanks! I've seen that, but I'm a little surprised there is no rendering for what will eventually result in 1,200 residences!  Let's hope it's not ugly ha.

Southgate Station (multiple 2  story structures, 46 townhome units) update.  Appears that there is a new section being added as several older homes have been cleared to the west of the project.

Addition on the current site. Looking NE from intersection of Southgate and Carvelle Ave:

Does anyone know when the abandoned businesses on 8th (Little Caesar's to Captain D's and the strip between) are slated to be razed for the new strip center and bank? It looks pretty tacky as is. The Captain D's building has been shuttered for several months now.

Middle Street Partners has some more info on the 19 acre development at 5554 Crossings Blvd. near the Century Farms mixed-use project.  This site will cover both sides of the boulevard featuring fourteen 3 & 4 story buildings with 550 residential units, parking decks, and 35,000 sq. ft. of commercial space.

The Metro Planning Commission is scheduled to hear Middle Street's request for new zoning on the land at its March 12th meeting.
