Publix 8th Ave. South (2 & 3 stories, 39,500 sq. ft.) update:  Brickwork and cladding nearly complete.

I suppose it will look better once complete, but the Publix and the new Fifth Third Bank just down the road have so few windows on the 8th-facing sides. They both look very closed off from the sidewalk. But I guess that's on-brand for such a pedestrian-averse corridor.

Weiss Watch Company, a boutique watchmaker from southern California, will relocate its HQ to WeHo in a small 1 story industrial structure at 405 Humphreys St. Cameron Weiss paid $900,000 for the building that was formerly home to Hamlett Printing, which ceased operations in October.  David Hamlett had purchased the site in 1970 for $22,500.
