Speedwagon Properties has purchased more land in Chestnut Hill: a 3 parcel 1.01 acre site at 937, 939, and 941 6th Ave. South for $4 million.  The same land sold in 2013 for $750,000.  Design Light operates out of the one story building on site now, but is going to move.  In June, Speedway bought 915 and 919 5th Ave. South for $5.1 million.  No word yet on Speedwagons' plans.

Hard to say at this point in time. They seem to be doing some co-developing with Mark McDonald I think on the 16th & Grand site for a hotel. I think they were some of the money behind that.

They are also leasing the building at Rosa Parks & Church to the Sonder Corp. for an Air B& B. I think they land bank and also put deals together and hold onto the land. I am unsure as to where their money comes from.

I do know they are working on another major deal, but I do not know if they are going to co-develop or lease the land once they buy it if they buy it. This one could be huge.

Lofts of Brentwood will be an apartment complex at 1616 Bell Rd. featuring 70 units (unknown amount of buildings or stories). The land was purchased for the several acre site at $1.1 million in July by an unknown entity.  Batten & Shaw is listed on metro records as the contractor for a permit of $6.1 million. no renderings yet.

The 28 townhome development by Red Seal Homes at 630 Hamilton Ave. in WeHo is about to get underway. The working moniker is Hamilton Avenue Townhomes. Bell Construction is the contractor. Some nondescript low-level manufacturing buildings/warehouses on the site will be razed.

This will be located just to the south of the large Swayze Properties mixed-use development that is being planned by Hysmith-Fowler.

I know this is a dumb question because I've seen it referenced many times, but where can you access smeagolsfree's map?
