The .42 acre triangular lot at the SW corner of Lafayette and Wharf Ave. (87 Lafayette St.) is now for sale at 1.675 million, a drop of 15% from $2 million a year ago.

The .45 acre lot at 2002 12th Ave. South (SE corner of 12th AVe. South and Acklen Ave.) that includes the 1 story non-historical Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is up for sale.  No asking price has been given.

I can't wait to see what this looks like after it's all shined up.  It just might be my favorite building in the city.  It adds a very unique sort of 'gritty Art Deco' aesthetic to the neighborhood.

Place would look really cool with some tasteful neon outlining the buildings at night.

Century Farms' Vintage 1857  Apartments (4 stories, 217 units), which were announced a year ago, have broken ground. The $44 million project is being developed by Oldacre McDonald and TDK Cos.  It should be open by 2022.
