Anyone heard anything about 1219 4th Ave S? This interesting little building in front of the Track One building. The bones look good, if you putt some updated windows in it.

A buddy was asking if I'd heard anything, apparently there is some possibly renovation plans on the horizon.

Looks like it will be the new headquarters of CA South, a real estate development company.

First glimpse of the exterior cladding material (white corrugated panels) on the building going in on the corner of Humphreys & Martin (Martin Flats). This is looking east along Humphreys St.

That paired with the window accents should make for an interesting facade.

One of the many new garden style apartment complexes planned for the area around Century Farms will have groundbreaking by the end of this quarter, according to the Nashville Post:  https://www.nashvillepost.com/business/development/article/21146434/work-looms-on-antioch-apartment-project

Behind paywall:  According to a release, the 10-building, 330-unit multifamily project will include 10 carriage homes and sit on 39 acres at 3144 Old Franklin Road, with Wood Partners serving as the general contractor.

I hope (but don't expect) that Metro has a plan to improve the surface streets to support the thousands of new apartments (and homes) planned for that corner of the county. Especiall the east-west routes between I-24 and Nolensville Road,  which is a distance of only  about 3.5 miles as a crow flies, say from the southern end of Hickory Hollow Pkwy, would be too late to connect in just a  few years. Even a tie-in with Burkitt Road would be extremely helpful, but I don't expect anyone in charge of Metro is that forward-thinking.

Is anyone on  this board good with drawing a possible route on a Google (or other) map?  Perhaps a route from the new extension of HH Pkwy over to the intersection of Concord and N'ville Rd.
