Residence Inn by Marriott (9 stories, 135 rooms) is being planned to join the 9 story  Four Points by Sheraton on the same 4.3 acre site owned by Anil Patel of Eagle Hospitality Inc.  A new 4 story parking garage would be built to serve both hotels. Civil engineering Group is involved. Metro Planning Commission will need to approve rezoning.  No rendering yet.

Blue Ridge Atlantic Development is planning a 3 story (?), 186 unit apartment complex on 7.15 acres at 4608 Nolensville Pike.  The site is currently home to a used car dealership with about 5 acres of wooded land to the north.

A large scale  parking garage (no word on capacity or levels) is being planned for the Nashville Zoo.  Alan Dooley is the architect.  No renderings yet.

From information emailed to members about the garage construction and impact

HCA Healthcare buys 6.8 acres inside Century Farms at 2121 Century Farms Parkway for $12.2 million.

"We periodically purchase land for potential growth in the future. We don’t have any immediate plans for the property at this time," HCA said in a statement to the NBJ.

Construction continues on the Tanger Factory Outlets Mall in Century Farms, which is scheduled to open this fall.  

Expected retailers at the southeast Nashville location include Michael Kors, Vera Bradley, Fossil, Oakley, Levi's, Ralph Lauren, American Eagle Outfitters, Aerie, Under Armour, Puma and Nike.

While many of the retailers are expected to be national chains, Tanger Outlets CEO Stephen Yalof said the ultimate goal is to create a combination of high-demand retail stores and locally based restaurants and businesses.

Just Love Coffee Cafe, with locally owned and operated locations across Middle Tennessee, is one such example expected to be included.

For the first time in any Tanger Outlets location, the shopping center will surround a publicly accessible greenspace.

Stats: 

• 290,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space
• 32 acres of land
• 70 retailers
• 700 jobs during 18 months of construction

Could they not have surrounded the green plaza with the buildings? I'm thinking like Oakbrook Center north of Chicago.

Is this going to pull retailers out of Opry Mills? Hard to see it becoming a bigger draw for out-of-towners than that area.
