This may have already been pointed out but did anyone notice they installed a legit crosswalk (flashing lights, pedestrian rest area in middle, lots of signage) like a third of a mile north of the Harding Place intersection on Nolensville pike? It’s a pretty big deal that they did, that area is hell on the older folks who have to walk across, and it was like a mile walk to the nearest crosswalk.

Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere, but the building that houses White Bison in 12 South will also have a Twice Daily. I didn’t even know they made them without gas stations, but with all the foot traffic in 12 South I can see how they’d be successful. Article behind paywall, but some renderings available:

There is similar information in today's Tennessean. I also think it will do well. The grab and go aspect will be popular.

A 3 story, 37,000 sq. ft., $10 million office building is being planned for 2920 Berry Hill Drive in Berry Hill, a block north of Thompson Lane, and just south of 440.  The primary tenant will be Goodall Homes builders, but some space will be available for others.

A bit more info on the new Publix:

Frank E. Neal Co. Insurance Agency building on the corner of the intersection and with an address of 2223 Eighth Ave. South will come down,  as well as the small convenience market at the back of the site.

The grocery will be housed in a 39,600-square-foot three-story building with two levels of parking and one floor for the grocery itself.

- Nashville-based Development Management Group is working on behalf of the Neals and the developer. Fisher Architects is handling design, with Gresham, Smith & Partners also participating in the effort.

Plans have evolved on the 20 acre Summit Hill project at the SE corner of I-65/Old Hickory Blvd. interchange. It will now include a 7 story Brian Paul boutique hotel,  a 600-seat music venue, spa, high-end homes and 7 acres of parkland/open space, with an estimated price of $320 million.  Originally, the plan had called for several of 8-10 story office structures. It must clear Metro Planning and Metro Council first.  The developers hope to break ground this fall, with the hotel being open by early 2021.
