New ASIAN development in Virginia Beach

Its cool to have a little cultural component. Would have liked to see it built in a more urban way off independence near town center where all the chinatown buses leave from.

it looks like a glorified strip mall with an asian theme to it.

Has anyone seen anything further on this? I thought it was kind of interesting since its not your run of the mill shopping center. It's not great but it is different. The only development I see going up in this area is a neighborhood Walmart on the corner of Buckner and Holland. I wonder if this is still being considered...
