^^ Sorry had posted this in the Southpark Neighborhood Forum, didn't know a Montford forum existed.   Here is the rendering though.

Does anyone have any information on this project?  It is still a pending 2015 Rezoning, with multiple site revisions.

Also, there is a rezoning at the corner of Reece and Park, right by Park Road Shopping Center.  Razing the 4 or so single family homes for 6 townhomes.

I saw a sign up for a new Smashburger in the corner of Park and Montford (across Montford from jimmy johns). I guess since the rezoning for the apts or townhomes that fell apart a year ago this stretch of park rd will turn into fast food restaurants and banks now

used to be a chiropractors office in the building.

Park Lanes is expanding with rooftop bar and private event space according to the Biz Journal

" 10 Park Lanes says expansion is in its future. It is seeking city approval for a project that will add a rooftop bar — complete with sunset views — and private space for bowling and gatherings, says Ray La Placa, operations director."

This might be a stupid question from a devoted urbanist, but where the hell does everyone park for Montford businesses?

Some of those businesses have their own parking. Otherwise, up and down the street or at the parking lot belonging to that big shopping center (sorry, the name isn't coming to me).

I doubt there will be any connections seen park towne and montford. The owner put the fence up to keep people from parking in the lot and walking to montford. It was mainly restaurants employees parking there and walking to work on montford. Then people were leaving trash in the parking lot. The owner  was partners with Ghazi(sleezeball) on the original epicenter.  They don't speak anymore.

Got an email yesterday that Montford was chosen for the next open streets Charlotte in October. To bad the greenway isn't finished to montford
