Can't help but take a few of my favorite high rise under construction.   Today.  The new south anchor to the uptown skyline within the loop.   I count 25 floors so give or take 10 more depending on whom you ask (a contractor told me 35) I project Mid August topping off with the pyramid give or take a week.

Thanks to our street correspondent @KJHburg always giving us the scoop. It's great for me because I'm in Raleigh and only make my annual pilgrimage to Charlotte for a Panther's game (I try and go to at least 1 a year). I get these nice visuals from him from around the city. It's very much appreciated. Everyone's pics are appreciated, but KJ is no doubt the unprecedented photograph contributor here.

Not completely unprecedented! Back in 2008 we had at least 1 poster who did the same. It’s glorious. I live in Charlotte and am uptown near daily and I still appreciate the pics. I’m movkng to DC in 6 weeks so I’m particularly going to love them even more so.

And I am not a professional in any way just a dude with a point and shoot camera that I carry everywhere!   I do have a pro friend though.

I still think it looks like it belongs in an office park alongside the LBJ Freeway in a mid-80s Dallas.

I just want to know when the Unofficial topping out will occur, the one where the tower leaves the view of the construction cam. My prediction: 6/7/18.

I don't know, my wife and I watch Blue Bloods enough to know this may be a cover-up for a real world terrorist attack.

The tower survived the emergency test mentioned above.  I can't help myself the most photographed building in Charlotte today.
