Perhaps I should email LH since I have liked this building from the rumors of the pyramid to the release of the renderings to today's status.  KJ is on it not sure how far I will get but just back from the mountains.

I'd estimate a little more than 100 feet.

There was an update, but their update was definitely wrong, trying to sort that out. Apparently I'm more familiar with their drawings than they are. They'd like us to think the building will be 67 feet shorter than DEC, thats just not the case.

I am studying some documents now but I do think it is height of 632 feet but they are saying somewhat taller that does not seem to jive with the plans approved.  Maybe once it is topped off  we will all know LOL

I am looking at a plan approved by the city and  it looks like the last office floor is 33 then there are 2 mechanical floors then the pyramid starts.  That sort of jives when I talk to a contractor and he said 35 floors.  But from the roof of that top floor 33 it is 118.5 feet to the tip of the pyramid.   anywho I am getting 636 tall give or take a foot or two.  This pyramid is a lot taller than most of us think.

Does anyone know how it is going  to actually  work structurally? Is it a room with a huge glass ceiling.  More like a glass enclosed spire. Will there be access to the inside of it? Could it support a person's  weight sliding down it then parachuting away like mission impossible?

Today from the center lane of S Tryon  the 33/35 story tower depending on how you count with 118 foot tall pyramid on top.  33 floors of office 2 mechanical floors approx 635 feet give take a foot or two

What I wouldn't give for a BIG RED building like they have in Chicago in uptown. Spice things up a bit.  Oh and a observation deck. So many tall buildings and not one to go 40, 50 stories up and look out on the city

It is a habit when I drive by roll down the window and snap a shot.  Today.  I can count on being stopped at a traffic light usually.

Like Ricky D suggested, that lower portion should be about ten stories taller. Other than that this tower doesn't hurt my feelings.

They're just starting to add another row of glass this afternoon. Also looks like they're still at least a day or two away from completing the 28th floor. The previous floor was completed 12 days ago so they've definitely fallen off pace with the new alignment. **IF** that slower pace continues, hard to see this topping out before mid-September at earliest.
