Did the pyramid get smaller from this rendering from January? Otherwise, I don’t think the pyramid will end up looking all that bad

I laughed when I read "this rendering," not once, but twice. The lazily superimposed stuff was a dead giveaway.

New photos from the stadium with the pyramid podium visible. I would personally prefer for the pyramid to be a little larger than what is indicated by the podium, but I do think it will look a lot better once the upper portion is clad in glass and what not.  It is still just a skeleton from the neck up right now.

thats unbelievable, i think somebody has said it would hold something like 3000 cars, I might be way off.  I count 7 floors already. 13 Floors is yuuuge.    Im amazed how big this thing is,  whats the 2nd largest garage in town and how many cars does it hold to get an idea?

But they are really concentrating the parking in that one block and in the less desirable area next to the freeway.  As someone alluded there could be a tower on top of the deck adjacent to Legacy 1  but this is a very high density project with lots of  towers.  Makes sense to me to concentrate the parking in one garage.  There is room for 3 more towers on the Tryon block alone in addition to Legacy 1 and 2 already planned or underway.

I keep telling myself the reasoning behind such a big parking deck, is that LU is going to be such a huge retail/shopping destination lol.  KJH is right though, density of all the towers and since they can't really bury the parking, next best solution is to consolidate into 1 large deck.  Btw, someone is going to enjoy a nice little side profit on game days when they charge 40-50 dollars a pop.

Brick veneer panels going up on the massive parking garage.  Ordinarily, I'd say that it's better than plain concrete.  Based on the rest of the project, it's a curious choice.  Does not feel like a cohesive design but maybe the variety will break up the two blocks.

This tower definitely has a mini me. The Westin at Virginia Beach Town Center. Not awful but the pyramid is much better proportioned.
