I can say as a former Deloitte employee, these "Audit" firms do very little actual financial audit these days. It is all about consulting and tax work. Deloitte's current space was very little audit, and having been there when the discussions of moving to a new place was going on, I can say that the reason for the move was 100% for the consulting side of the firm.

Just got my annual Book of Lists from the Business Journal today and just to let you know how big KPMG and Deloitte are in Charlotte.

Deloitte has 1032 employees in Charlotte and KPMG has 445  Legacy 2 and Legacy 1 new tenants. 

Wonder if PriceWaterhouseCooper who has 1089 employees in Charlotte now currently in the Hearst Plaza will want a new office with higher visibility or EY which has 1070 employees in Charlotte and I don't think this includes their new Innovation center in the Railyard either.  EY has its main office in BofA Corporate Center you would think they would want their own visibility or tower too?

Oh just confirmed to me today the huge parking deck only has 3100 spaces and the pyramid will be done by mid January.  By comparison Gateway Village has 2725 spaces in their sprawling deck.  The airport deck has 4000 parking spaces for general public PLUS all the parking for the rental car lots.  The airport mega deck is a total of 7000 spaces give or take a few.

Yes that is the BIG deck has 3100 spaces not the adjoining deck to the Legacy 1 tower.   Looking forward to hearing about Legacy 3 coming

Final installment in the stadium series for this season. I enjoyed watching this tower rise from the stands about as much as I did watching the games (and maybe more so once the season started going downhill). Can’t wait to see how it looks next season!

I will hold off on my opinion  of LU until the pyramid is complete, but from what I tell from the webcam this a.m., I'm not holding my breath that we have proportion.

Was in Charlotte this weekend. Went uptown with some friends and when they saw legacy, they were like “omg look at that building, it looks so good” and my other friend responded “yeah. It has really good proportions.”

Everyone I know not on UP loves it only the architectural critics on this board don't.    Of course I have never wavered in my fondness of it.
