Lots and lots of ornamental concrete  around the top. Should look better with the pyramid(which is seeing lots of base work this week), and the blue glass windows.  The best architecture 1991 can offer ;).

Anyone know the size/parking lot comparison of LU's large parking garage versus Ally Centers parking garage to come?  Just trying to wrap my mind around how large both of them will be.

Ally's will be about half the size around 1500 spaces.

Although Dallas is a much bigger city than Charlotte, I think that the Queen's skyline is far superior to both that of the Big D and Austin.

I would have to agree that Dallas’s skyline is not that impressive considering how big of a city it is, but Austin’s skyline is quite impressive.  I was just there a few months ago and was astonished at how many new towers are under construction.  Way more than Dallas and Charlotte.    I’m proud of Charlotte though and agree that our skyline is beautiful!

Dallas itself isn't MUCH bigger. Adding FW, Arlington and the vast sprawl to the north makes the metro MUCH bigger. Central Dallas isn't though. Central Atlanta seems much bigger to me that center city Dallas.

Until very recently, I’d guess 90% of new construction has occurred in the Uptown area. Finally the CBD is getting into the act. Taken together, Uptown and the CBD are fairly impressive.
