No SunTrust at Legacy Union, maybe that means that LU4 could be residential or hotel after all. That said. This means US Bank needs a new building, I had them pegged at occupying Hearst Backfill.

Concrete pad construction going in beside the parking garage that we all love so dearly.  I'm guessing this is the beggining of LU3, or at least the beginning of their parking deck?

Also, trees are getting planted alongside the garage.

The parking deck will be an extension of the current parking deck toward mint. I'm not sure what this is.

I have been checking in on this today.  Its going to be a big retaining wall.  Not sure why it is going to exist, but that is what it will be.

Today and yes I still like this tower unlike many of you.  Here's why: height, vertical banding makes it look taller, classic look fitting for one of my banks and even the pyramid on top.   I like diversity in a skyline.  BUT for those who don't like it don't worry it will surrounded by high rises of various heights and you will hardly notice it in the future.   

Legacy 2 rising and I saw some site work being done by Legacy 3 Honeywell tower that will block the garage.   2 super blocks of Charlotte Rising.

This is by far my favorite light scheme for this building. I think it looks best with the white lighting.

Agree 100%.  The lighting in this building was designed really well.  I like the placement of the fixtures and as long as they are white, this building looks great.  

The only exception to white should be when the Panthers win the SB, it can be black and blue. Or, if lightning strikes and the Hornets win a NBA title, teal and purple.
