Charlotte Ledger stated that Bank of America leases 600,000 sq ft which is more than first reported at 550,000.  If that is the case, then BofA quietly took some more space which makes sense since they are vacating lots of space at BofA Plaza and Hearst.

Not right thread, but related, the law firm Dechert is moving to one of the few full floors left at 300 S Tryon from BofA Corp Center, and BofA is reclaiming that floor at their HQ tower for their own use.

I think it was just the cheapest option they could find. My wife's birthday I spend more on my own "entertainment budget" than they did on the opening of a 1million sq foot tower.

I agree.  I think it’s beautiful.  Also, Charlotte is one of about ten cities that’s building lots of towers, so I’m all the more pleased.

The 3rd tower gets pity points for covering up that side of the ramp. I feared that plot could sit for quite a while

I sure hope that's a  hint lol. Drove by LU 5 minutes ago and there's very cool lighting on the pedestrian bridge from the deck to BOAT. I always thought they could do what the  CLT airport deck does with the Panthers blue against all that screening at LU garage and make it a little bit more tolerable at night time.

I sure hope that's a [emoji185] hint lol. Drove by LU 5 minutes ago and there's very cool lighting on the pedestrian bridge from the deck to BOAT. I always thought they could do what the  CLT airport deck does with the Panthers blue against all that screening at LU garage and make it a little bit more tolerable at night time. 

I dunno, I’m not gonna give myself any expectations with this project. If Lincoln Harris fell into a puddle of “cool,” they’d get out of the puddle completely dry.

Any way they could go back and retrofit the top level to a park?  It would be an amazing place on Panthers game days and a great amenity for all of the businesses / residents in the area once full build out is complete.

I'd have to defer to an actual architect/engineer. haha. I would think the roof would have needed to be made to handle the weight of all that dirt and vegetation. This option could be done on the existing concrete pretty easily.
