First glass spotted on Legacy 2 the Deloitte tower in 2nd photo.  Say what you want about LH they can get the job done!  and Honeywell will have a tower crane soon enough.  All around the block today.

I absolutely agree!

A realistic estimation based on current and recently completed construction progress/milestones:  LU2 at this rate will probably top out around early to mid December.  LU3 will begin going vertical (slowly at first with the parking garage since it is Podium Construction) around mid November to early December barring any weather delays or foundation problems.  This will provide for continuous erection activity at the LU site.  Fairly impressive.

If the economy holds and LH allows more office at the site (remember they wanted a mix of uses), it wouldn’t surprise me if LU4 is announced sometime prior to the Honeywell Tower Completion.  Just seems like there’s so much momentum towards Office right now and I’m sure they could fit in one more Major Office Building before turning to Mixed Use Retail/Residential or Hotel Structures.

Really cool lighting setup on the stairs. I fear this building might become a bit less welcoming due to security constraints though. Was (politely) informed by a security guard that I could not go on the stairs, but we could take pictures.

So this project could have been a great gateway to the stadium but ends up being a fortified office park.

Legacy 2 Deloitte tower is up to 11 by my count today.  Food trucks regularly using the grassy vacant spot at the corner of Stonewall and S Tryon.  More retail is needed is this area as these buildings fill up.  Today.  Glass up in Legacy 2 and because of its location right on the street Legacy 2 looks very tall.

As a reminder (because I was curious and looked), LU2 for Deloitte will be 18 stories.  I am not exactly sure how you count those bottom floors, but it looks like there are 7 or 8 more floors to go.   It might be less pronounced than the Spectrum property, but that cantilever will be pretty spectacular from the street level once it makes it all the way to the top and is glassed.

It is 18 stories and the 3rd floor is an executive parking level so it is much shorter than the other taller office floors. I think it is only 10 feet high vs. 14-15 feet for the office floors.   I think this building is a great wing man for the taller BOAT.

Yes they have a 3rd floor executive parking level at Legacy 2 and that is why that floor is not as a tall as the others in the building.  I guess Deloitte wanted it.

Just when I couldn't imagine people getting more lazy they sandwich a parking garage into a mid-rise. Yea, this sure is "mixed use"!

Legacy Union 3, aka Honeywell Tower, foundation work is moving along.  Lots of people and equipment out and about. 

In the second picture, I noticed that there were some concrete pillars with rebar poking out, so is it safe to say we have gone vertical?

so disappointing that this building is not following the curve of the road.  along with that, this is going to be a skinny building as well

I don't think it will be the last, I think we will get one more squeak in. People aren't done moving here.

One more thing on this executive parking level I think I misspoke.  This was planned before Deloitte came on board,  LH did this successfully at the Capitol Towers in Southpark and has some executive parking in Legacy BOAT at the Hill St S Church corner as well next to the tower.  It is a marketing tool that does seem popular having special parking areas for the decision makers.  Same as the old reserved parking spaces just in  a different area all together.
