Brookfield Place sucks almost as much as Legacy Union. If it weren't for an astounding amount of open space and retail...

I guess my love for Brookfield explains my fondness for LU!

Anyway, I really hope that LH acquires the Duke fortress on Church Street and expands LU.  I’ve always wanted to see in Charlotte a series of adjacent towers with 50 really nice stores and restaurants at the base like Madison  Ave.

Ahh - remember back in the good ole days when the thing people on here worried most about was how much they hated (or loved) this building and whether our skyline was perfectly symmetrical?  What I wouldn't take for more of that...

we will be back that I know when not sure but this will pass.

they are still punch listing Legacy 1 BOAT as I had to avoid painters, people repairing the steps in the main tower as I decided to do a balance check at the ATM inside the tower.

Legacy 2 and Honeywell towers both rising and Legacy 2 is about 13 of the 18 floors.   From all over Legacy today.  And I do like the logo on the garage side.   And saw the Short Legacy Union Track and still no answer why they did this beyond just decoration.

Notice the very dark blue glass on the 3rd floor which is the parking level of Legacy 2.

4 months later:  Does anyone have an explanation for why they installed these tracks at LU?

I think I explained it 4 months ago lol. Pretty sure its paying homage to the train tracks that used to feed CO with ink, paper, equipment.

Lol. Yeah and I really like that they did it. It’s fitting and unique.

Rumor has it that a construction worker was found dead here Monday morning.  Apparent overdose is what I have been told. Haven't seen anything in the news about this though.

I don't mean this to sound as crude as it will, but an OD won't make the news. And unless it's dramatic, I doubt a construction accident would make the news, either.

Correct, there are probably a dozen or so OD's every week and in every part of Charlotte. It's too common place to make the news, especially these days.
