The Duke building is so reflective in that pic, it almost disappears. Gorgeous

24 story Legacy 4 tower rising.  Lots of action on the site today.  

Photos of the empty tower sites on the 2nd block and plenty of room for 2 more towers on this site.  

and that Night Swim Coffee house inside the lobby of the BOAT is beautiful support your local coffee shops. 

Oh yeah that roof on the side wing of the BOAT that can have several floors added on to and Highwoods the new owner will do that some day.  

I heard some rebel wants to hold a picnic of the Legacy Lawn not sure if that is allowed LOL.

I always notice that pictures of LU never seem to have too many cars or people moving around on the streets. Unfortunate given how it's basically becoming the center of the city.

Im not sure when these were taken but there's usually a bit more combination of the two the closer it is to 9am. Although this varies on day of week. Im not certain how it fairs in the afternoon though. I imagine its likely due to the hybrid schedules.

I took this around 10 am however Brooklyn Village Ave is being repaved and closed,  Down to one lane on inbound S tryon and S College Streets.  It was a real traffic mess.    I saw more vehicles in the Mega garage of Legacy on Church than I ever have on a work day.

Not only do I think that LH  builds beautiful projects, but they are incredibly efficient.  The speed with which this is rising is very impressive.  In fact, the speed with which they leased this whole project is exceptional.

Gezzus, my life will be totally fulfilled if the ACC hoops officials have to ride the blue line to the HQ to explain their duke home-cooking calls. Can’t wait to bump into these dudes on my way to work! I hope the incentives had a clause that all refs must wear their stripes when getting called on the carpet.

I know that the ACC office is small, but it sure would be nice for them to have an on-site hotel given the amount of travel they will be doing to and from their corporate office. I wonder if they held conversations with LH to understand what they have in mind for the remaining parcels.

The JW Marriott is only about 600 feet away and would likely be able to accomodate any ACC visitors looking for an upscale hotel and would be roughly the same distance as a hotel at the Graham/Mint corner by the stadium. That said, I very much hope we get some other uses at this site. Hopefully some of the still vacant retail at Legacy could be filled by an ACC Fan Store.

And here I was hoping the ACC would move into 201 South Tryon and go full circle with its signage as an homage to the old American Credit Corporation.

Not sure size requirements for this but it would be absolutely incredible if we could utilize any of those vacant retail spots for the ACC hall of champions museum (or something similar) at LU. Would be a nice draw to LU and maybe include something along the lines of a blackfinn type restaurant as well.
