Jet Pack rentals.

Based on the amount of stuff they've done (and the questionable quality of the creative), it doesn't look like they're poured a ton of time or money into it. It could be pro-bono. Or they could have interns working on it. Agencies also do stuff like this just to win Addys.

Erwin Penland doesn't do anything half ass, even if its pro-bono. This is an ad they did for the Human Society pro-bono, hilarious and first rate work. http://www.erwinpenland.com/work/details/greenville-humane-society

If its lackluster it won't be Erwin Penland's fault.

These are looking pretty similar to what that website posts if you ask me. I'm smelling some rip off here.

It's a hoax sherlock. A marketing gimmick.

Yes...they normally do good stuff. But the fact is, that website is pretty slapdash. And the billboard is downright terrible. The logo is pretty sweet, though.

Maybe it's being done that way on purpose to trick people. Wouldn't surprise me if that's the case.

What a ridiculous bait and switch. I like guerrilla marketing when it's smart. But this campaign barely has anything to do with the end client.

In my opinion, having B-cycle come to Greenville is a pretty huge deal. So why not get people excited and talking about the actual product, not some fictitious unrelated idea? I feel like this stunt undermined the importance of B-cycle and what it means for our city. Months of work to bring B-cycle here, and it's announced in a way that sets people up to be disappointed about the real news? (read the 'reveal' copy at http://www.greenvillejetpacks.com/)

The good news is that people are talking, although I doubt that will last long. The bad news is that EP introduced this in such a negative way I hope people will actually sign up and support the good idea that B-cycle is.

I agree completely, terrible campaign.
