I still think this mall should be redeveloped into mixed use town center with lots of apartments, a hotel, offices and retail and the roof peeled off.

This is great to hear.  Same thing that is happening Kannapolis's revitalized downtown area.  Almost all of the retailers are locally owned and unique to that market!

Yes for apartments yes on a hotel the county has over 220,000 people and it is growing not as fast as Charlotte Meck but still growing.

You just have to include an Olive Garden and a Long Horn Steakhouse in a Gastonia mixed use development and it will be packed with happy customers.
