Hellfire: The Jerry Lee Lewis Story

"Jerry Lee's second journey was to Nashville. He checked into a dollar-a-night room at the Bell Hotel, across from the Continental Bus depot."

I've tried to locate a photo to no avail, but from looking through old photos from long distance of that block, I'm thinking it was probably a non-descript two-story flophouse. I don't remember much of note that stood where the Convention Center was (aside from the old Sam Davis Hotel which was demolished for the then-Stouffer Hotel).

I know the Bell Hotel.  My grandfather used to own it. His name was Herman Vantrease.  It was pretty run down when I remember it from the 1960s.  He died in 1981 so I don't know who the owner was when it was torn down.   I do have a photo but don't know how to post it.  Can you help?
