I believe its too soon to tell... I know we're 5 weeks into this thing, but many schools still haven't been challenged... I don't think we'll know what USC is about until they are forced to play a good team in the bowls.

I think USC can beat anybody out there. The problem is that apparently it takes them half of the game to get moving. But when they do, they're unstoppable, as the last two games have proven. Although I might be a touch biased judging by my avatar :whistling::D

I think Oklahoma has been overrated in recent years.

They were beaten badly by LSU in the '03 National Championship Game, they were absolutely destroyed by USC in the '04 National Championship Game, and they aren't off to a good start at all this year.

5. Georgia 4-0 1,318 ...................Will lose a though one at Tennessee.

6. Ohio State 3-1 1,279................Why are they even in the top 10, but a loss at Penn St will settle that.

7. Alabama 5-0 1,150 ..................After what happend Sat, they're a deserving Top 10.

8. Tennessee 3-1 1,143 ...............Can Clausen hold it down in Knoxville vs Georgia

9. Miami 3-1 1,118 ......................After beating down red hot So. Fla, maybe Miami is Underrated?

10. California 5-0 988 ..................Another one got me scratching my head. No real test till USC.

11. LSU 2-1 978 ...........................Seem to have gotten over that collapse a few weeks back.

12. Notre Dame 4-1 966 ...............Really, dont they seem just a little soft.

13. Florida 4-1 792 ......................They were so overrated. They are so not in the Top 10.

14. Wisconsin 5-0 773 ..................They're playing well, beat Michigan at home.

15. Texas Tech 4-0 588 ................I guess..

16. Penn State 5-0 493 .................Red hot, and should be 5-0 after this weekend

17. Arizona State 3-2 491 .............Could finish against USC, what an upset that would have been.

18. Boston College 4-1 464 ...........Should 've, would've, could've..at home vs Florida State.

19. Michigan State 4-1 455 ............Plays though but should have beaten Michigan.

20. UCLA 4-0 412 .........................The one USC wont see comming.

21. Michigan 3-2 335 .....................Only in the Top 25 because they're Michigan

I cannot believe you are questioning why Ohio State is still ranked in the top 10. They have the number 1 defense in the nation. They are getting better each week offensively. They have great special teams. They nearly beat the number 2 team in the nation. This team is a top 10 team and if they lose to Penn State, I will be shocked.

No,.. Ohio State has the best linebacker,.. I dont no about total defence.

And yes, they ALMOST beat no# 2 Texas, but a loss is a loss.

And I wouldnt be shocked Penn State puts up a few TDs to knock off OU Sat.... that will rank em down there with there good ole friends Michigan, somewhere like no#17

I would. Penn State has not played anybody on the caliber of Ohio State especially defensively. They will be humbled by the speed and power that the Buckeyes usually bring.OSU is a top 10 team. Also, if Ohio State shouldn't be in the top 10. Miami shouldn't either.

FSU didn't squeek past BC. And USF has never been red hot. Thats like playing a high school. I like your commentary tho...

^ I Belive Florida State is extremely overrated.. But the BCS has'nt come in to play yet. Although with some controversy, the BCS formula usually gets it right in the end. Florida State benefits from a slightly weaker ACC division, and having arch rival Miami at home also gave the Seminoles the edge thus far in the season. The difference maker will be at Clemson, and then the trip to Florida at the end of the regular season. Florida plays FSU though regardless of there record. It will come down to the wire in the ACC this year.

USC just SURVIVED at ND.... what a game!!!

That game was one for the ages. What a finish! But a little too close for comfort if my avatar is any indication :D Although I have to admit I scraped by knuckles on the ceiling when USC won it  But that was just a classic USC-ND game.

That was such a close game that was played to the very last second!

Though I was going for ND, I have to give it to USC for pulling it off at the last second. I felt sorry for those ND fans who thought they had defeated a giant.

Year in and year out the most overrated team is Michigan State. They always get ranked in the top 10 then they always find a way to lose 5 games a year. You could probably put Minnesota on the list as well or Tennessee. I guess Auburn would be the terminally underrated team. Every year they start out unranked or ranked in the bottom of the top 25, then they finish in the top 10.

Since it is the end of the season, I think hands down Tennessee had to be the most overated team in College Football this year. They were top 5 to start the year with a huge amount of talent. Probably Florida State was next, but if they win their bowl game.. it would drop them. The poll didn't even include Tennessee...

it hurts me to agree with you since i've been a ut fan since birth and i bleed orange, but tennessee was way overrated this season. then again, if you look at the team they had, they should still be in the top 3. it's the coaching that was horrible this year. fulmer can definatly pull in the talent, he just lacks the discipline to get the players to go 100%. i'd say watch out for them next year though. with cutcliff back as offensive coordinator i see the offense really picking back up.
