Just waned to know what you thought.

If you have any idea which team you would like to see move there, please post it.

It depends. I think that market could have a team but the NFL will expand to LA before it creates or moves a team to San Antonio. The AlamoDome would most likely be where they played until a new stadium could be constructed.

You would think the market would be too small but you always have to figure in Austinites coming down for games. The TV market is rather small which is less important for getting an NBA team (see Memphis, Sacramento) but is a killer when you're talking about the NFL.

I think Memphis needs an NFL team so Tennessee can have some intra-state pro sports rivalry. Either that, or Nashville should get an NBA team. San Antonio? All I know is that the Spurs are great.

I personally think Texas has too many teams.

how? Both Houston and Dallas deserve to have a team. This is a football crazy state and both cities are in the top 10 in media and radio markets.

Texas is a very big state, in both area and population. I don't think things are going to change.

Memphis has been trying to get a team for decades. To be honest I don't see it getting one anytime soon either. Maybe if a team like the Saints move there's a chance. But you'd still think they'd move to a bigger market like Los Angeles. You'd probably have to have someone buy one of the teams who had a personal interest in Memphis.

Yes the Saints have built up history in New Orleans, but the Cleveland Browns probably had a deeper history when they moved to Baltimore in the 90's. LA is going to end up with a team sooner or later. The only other team that I've seen rumored to possibly move is the Chargers. I guess time will tell if those cities can work out stadium deals.

Because of the flood, the Saints will be playing in San Antonio until the situation in New Orleans is resolved, which will probably take all of the season.

I personally think Texas has too many teams.

Florida has 3 NFL Teams in Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonvile with 5 million less people than Texas.

And Jacksonville is a much smaller market than San Antonio.
