Tennessee Brew Works is selected second-best brewery in the South according to Southern Living:

I'm sorry but TNBW has no business being on that list let alone number two.  The only accolade that Southern Living could even drum up was their......cheese plates?  C'mon man.

SportsNet (the Canadian equivalent to ESPN) gives Nashville Predators experience, hockey fans, and downtown a big thumbs up:

Great article!!  I particularly enjoyed the very last paragraph with a quote from Sportsnet's Chris Johnston:

"Probably every hockey writer is silently fist pumping under the table at the prospect of spending a couple weeks in Nashville at the Cup final," - Johnston said.

From the Nashville Post:

Congress for New Urbanism recognizes Metro

The Congress for the New Urbanism has awarded Metro Nashville a Charter Award for excellence in design related to “Envision Lower Broadway,” last fall’s temporary rearrangement of Broadway traffic lanes between First and Second avenues.

The award specifically was made to the Metro Public Works Department.

Undertaken in September and October 2016, the project involved the replacing of two traffic lanes with pedestrian-friendly walking space, planters and street furniture.

Relatedly, the Metro Planning Department Downtown Code, Metro’s specific building code for the city's urban core, received the Form-Based Code Institute’s Driehaus Award for achievement in writing and implementing form-based code.

Wonder how we'll position when our hotel pipeline is completed. I'm guessing a top 5 placing in the next 2 or 3 years.  Oh, and great article in the Tennessean  @markhollin ! I'll see you there tonight.  Go Preds!!!
