An understatement.  My sources in the building now say the move-in target date is December 20.  And we all know that could change.

More metal going up on the entrance dome today.  Hopefully this is the final application.  Still wondering what the finished product will look like.

Originally the atrium dome was supposed to be glass...I'm wondering if they had to punt to metal because of supply-line issues?  Or was this a value re-engineering?

Reposting two images that I originally posted last year, neither of which seem to indicate the dome would be glass. Perhaps there was an early version of the design that featured a glass roof.

We knew that from the moment we saw the design.

We are nearing the final look on the front door.  Still a lot of work to be done on the grounds.  Last night a federal judge confided that it will be several more months before completion and was despairing that it is too small already.

Not surprised. Then they should request more $$ from this infrastructure bill… oh wait. Never mind. They’re stuck with this for the next several decades. And it’s looking like the 5th congressional district is going to get carved up.

Well considering the fact that it was designed for 1998 (or whatever distant time it was first proposed) needs it makes sense that it is now too small!
