Hello!

My husband is considering a job in Thomasville GA and we are looking at living options (currently live in Illinois).  One of those options is Tallahassee.  We have a 23 year old son with Down syndrome and need information re: support services and other opportunities, including:

Vocational placement and support services/opportunities

Recreational and social opportunities

Continuing Education opportunities

Speech therapy

Transportation services

 

Our son is fairly independent and is often home by himself, even overnight, but we don't know if that would be safe/possible in Tallahasse. 

 

Any information/contacts would be helpful... Thanks!
