I was very saddened to see that Chase had passed away. I can't think of a single request I made over the years of Chase either while he worked for Patty or Teresa where he didn't get back to me within 48 hours, usually with even more information than I had any clue I needed. Truly, he exemplified everything good in a public servant. His journey from rural Florida to such a prominent place in the Orlando political scene should also serve as a model for everyone, but especially those in the local gay community.
