looking to take over the building that houses Cornerstone Deli

 

not sure what my feelings are here, just wish that the current MDC building was more like the on they are now looking to buy.

 

Also wondering the fate of our regional water/waste districts.  most are public entities, but we have some private companies.

 

I wonder if there will be more mergers of the public and private entities.

 

I suspect this is a national economic trend much like hospital mergers.  as they become private entities, will they be job growth entities for the larger cities... I hope so and I hope Hartford can maintain a HQ for Hospital groups like HH, Utilities like NU and MDC

I think that is construction of the apartment low rise at the traffic rotary. I agree that it is a cool picture.

Just paid my MDC bill today, so they should be able to afford whatever they want to do

Apparently this plan died pretty quickly.  the city is not sure they want to sell.
