Damn that's going up fast.

There are a bunch of store manager positions listed on indeed:

Under Armour

Cole Haan

https://www1.apply2jobs.com/colehaan/HVExt/index.cfm?fuseaction=mHvexternal.showPositionDetails&pid=20&lid=161&sid=10

Gap

Brooks Brothers

And I thought I saw that H&M was opening in May but I can't find the reference anymore. May have been on a store manager job opening a while ago.

So this place is about to open. I was out in that area today and noticed a few things:

) It's going to be a mess for a while. They placed the traffic light into the development too close to the highway, where everyone coming from GR will have to make a left turn, so expect traffic to back up onto 131 for the first couple of weekends.

) They're running shuttle buses from Byron Center High School for the opening weekend. Yikes, they're expecting crowds for sure.

) Rivertown Crossings has a huge billboard on 131 around 76th Street, practically begging shoppers not to forget about them (and listing stores that the outlet mall won't have).

) There's an article in the paper about the lack of restaurants in that area, that I swear I was thinking a few weeks ago. There's only a Subway and a pretzel shop in the new center. 84th St Grill is the only sit down restaurant at that exit, and it's basically a restaurant you would expect to find connected to a hotel (they actually have a decent selection on tap though). Smells like deep fried opportunity. And someone should either build an indoor waterpark at that exit or expand the little existing one at 76th St in that hotel (Radisson I think).

) If you're like me with loved ones just pining for this to open, here's a directory map on the website now:
