Did anyone notice that one of the cranes was raised over the weekend.

Also as far as being topped. They are transitioning to the office floors vs the slanted floors for parking and they should being adding a floor a week starting very soon.

It looked like glass for the fins up the side of the building was being installed when I drove by yesterday. I didn't get a chance to take a pic.

^ At the 1:14 mark they show Bridgestone and Pinnacle in a pretty good side by side view, but Pinnacle looks to be taller?  I that Bridgestone is supposed to be about 50' taller?

Yeah, it's "supposed" to be 43' taller.  Probably just inaccuracy on the part of individuals doing the video.  It's shown as shorter in a few other renderings as well.  I'd like to see actual plans for the building.  

Strange thing about that video and this may have been brought up before but when they are highlighting buildings from each decade they highlight the new CMHoF and new Suntrust buildings as if they're from the 1960's.  The originals were built in the 60's but not the newer buildings they highlight.  This leads me to believe the individuals creating the video lack an eye for detail, with regard to history and height.

Up to the 15th floor now---halfway there as far as floor, but more like 40-42% of total height complete, since the business floors are much taller than the parking deck portion below.

Was checking out this project yesterday and I am actually getting pretty excited about the glass panels sticking out of the front of the building. They really look bold!! Making more of a difference than I expected.

Yes, I think the "fins" are going to look really cool on this especially if they are properly lit at night.

^^Just proves you can make a parking garage look nice.  We shouldn't have to settle for some of the ugly parking structures in this city.

Funny I was thinking the exact same thing.  If the owner/developer is willing to finance the extra bucks, as Bridgestone was, parking can be tastefully incorporated into the tower design instead of an exposed concrete pedestal.

Interesting--I hadn't noticed this before. It looks like the size of the floor plate is different starting above the red line and are recessed slightly:

Not a huge design element, but should contribute a small amount of visual interest to the final product.

Is it possible that everything below the red line is all parking garage?

No, just below that is the first main-office floor, which likely, given it's unique shape/height, will actually be facilities and conference rooms.

I had not noticed it either, but indeed it appears in the Highwoods renderings. Note it's only on the east face (across from Encore).
